How do I book?

Contact us with your preferred dates and package. We’ll confirm availability and tailor everything to your group.

Where is Luče?

Luče is in the mid-north of Slovenia in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps on the Savinja river. We are about an hour drive from Ljubljana and Ljubljana airport. The border with Austria is about thirty minutes drive and Klagenfurt airport is ninety minutes drive. 

Do you offer guided tours?

We offer guided road and gravel bike tours, bespoke training weeks and can help arrange hiking and other adventure sports with an experienced local guide. 

Can you help with route planning?

Yes we can help with planning routes for cycling, hiking and running. These can be delivered via GPX files to connect with GPS devices. We can also offer a daily briefing to explain your route, where the best places to stop are and any other tips for you to have a great day!

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes, we can arrange airport transfers for you and your bikes at an additional cost each way from Ljubljana or Klagenfurt airports.

Can I hire bikes?

Yes, if you do not wish to bring your own bike we can arrange hire as well as pick up & drop off to the accommodation. 

How many people can stay?

We can accomodate up to seven guests.  

What's the weather like?

June, July & August we have temperatures from low 20’s to low 30’s Celcius, it can feel hotter when climbing! It’s not uncommon to snow as late as April which can affect off-road riding in the high peaks. May, September and October are lovely times here, bright and sunny but a little cooler. For winter fun December-February we can have heavy snow.

Is Slovenia expensive?

Slovenia is relatively cheap compared with most of Europe. At the restaurant in the village a pizza and a beer is 12-15EU. A cappuccino around 2EU, an espresso 1EU. 

Tourist Tax in Slovenia is an extra charge of 2EU per day per person.

What amenities are in the village?

Luče has one well stocked grocery store, bakery, one restaurant and three bars/cafes. One of the cafes also serves breakfast during the summer. 

For a fine dining experience we also have Hiša Raduha, but we would need to reserve your table in advance. 

Mozirje & Nazarje are the nearest towns with super markets, these are 20-25 minutes drive away. If you do not wish to hire a car we can arrange a grocery pick up for you.
